Multi-sensory storytelling
I love to use intriguing multi-sensory props to bring my stories to life. There are tactile objects, cosy quilts, sweet-smelling puppets and lots of funny noises!
I use rhythm, rhyme and participation to ensure that the story sessions go with a swing!
'Your props are wonderful and the musical instruments/sounds that you use just complete the whole package'
Teacher, Braidburn Special School, Edinburgh
'That was brilliant' Dad, at a family story session, Fife
It's very important for me that storytelling is as inclusive as possible. I am particularly interested in creating stories for people with complex additional needs. I believe that if stories are told in the right way with the right props they can reach out to everyone!
I am happy to cover particular themes or issues in my story sessions. Get in touch to discuss this, or to make a booking.
